THE 2025 INAUGURAL ROUND TOP DESIGNER SHOWHOUSE
The inaugural Round Top Designer Showhouse debuted this last Spring in the charming town of Round Top, Texas — best known for its world-renowned antiques fair and creative spirit. Set within a newly built modern farmhouse, the 3,500-square-foot residence showcased the work of 18 celebrated designers who reimagined each room with layered, inspired interiors that honor both history and contemporary living.
Proceeds from the showhouse benefited Camp For All, a nonprofit providing barrier-free experiences for children and adults with special needs.
Hartmann&Forbes was honored to have participated in this inaugural event and to support a project that celebrates design, craft, and community.

One of the most captivating areas of the Showhouse was the suite of spaces envisioned by Austin, Texas-based Marcus and Autumn Mohon of Mohon Interiors. Charged with designing the kitchen, living room, dining room, and library, they approached each space as a seamless extension of the home’s architecture — a narrative of connection, comfort, and quiet sophistication.
In the kitchen, a sculptural plaster hood adorned with oak branch reliefs became both a functional centerpiece and a work of art, echoing the natural beauty of the Texas landscape. The adjoining rooms flowed together with soft palettes, layered textures, and carefully curated details, creating an atmosphere that felt both grounded and elevated.
Every element reflected Mohon Interiors’ hallmark: a balance of romance and refinement. Hartmann&Forbes’ handwoven window coverings added depth and organic warmth, complementing the firm’s layered aesthetic while reinforcing the home’s dialogue with nature. At Round Top, their thoughtful vision shaped the heart of the home into a sanctuary that feels both personal and profoundly welcoming.
